What iLead is

Leadership you practice, not a lecture you sit through

iLead is a values-based leadership curriculum built in three volumes — iChoose, iDo, and iLead — each inspired by the leadership philosophy of author, speaker, and coach Dr. John C. Maxwell. Every volume holds 32 lesson parts across 4 units, designed in collaboration with educational leaders to be facilitated by the students themselves in weekly small groups we call Transformation Tables.

The Transformation Tables method lets students practice their emerging leadership skills while building connection and inclusivity through a true peer-to-peer environment. Along the way, young people develop better relationships with their peers, find their voice, and take real action to lead themselves in line with good values. In each lesson, a value or leadership trait is paired with imagery and a quote to make it stick — a short, honest teaching, an honest self-check on how well they live it, and one immediate action they choose to take.

The iChoose Youth Development Program

The iChoose youth development program is a donor-funded workshop facilitated by Leadership TeamBuilder and developed by Dr. John C. Maxwell. It gives students an environment where leadership values are introduced, practiced, and shared.

Too many of today's teenagers equate leadership with position, power, and corruption, so few of them carry a healthy, correct understanding of what leadership is or how to use it well. iChoose reverses that — offering a portrait of leadership built on values a young person can admire, practice, and choose to grow into.

The Sponsor Hub puts iLead's resources, tools, and lessons in one place for the classroom and for virtual settings.
